New Delhi, Oct 31 (NationPress) Senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader and former Uttar Pradesh minister Azam Khan has refuted claims of a divide with SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, affirming that their connection, both politically and personally, has remained unbroken for nearly 45 years.
In a revealing conversation with IANS, Azam Khan stated, “Akhilesh Yadav visited me multiple times during my incarceration. I have a relationship that spans 45 years with this family. Such bonds do not dissolve.”
Dismissing media narratives suggesting discord, Khan emphasized that these rumors were fabricated by external parties and exaggerated by some media outlets.
“You (the media) spun tales of our destruction so effectively that we almost began to believe them,” he remarked.
