Guwahati, Feb 24 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a two-day visit to Assam, expressed on Monday that the northeastern region, once overlooked by the central government, is now experiencing rapid growth under the BJP leadership, asserting that he has taken on the role of the region's brand ambassador.

During his attendance at the Jhumoir dance event at the Sarusajai Stadium in Guwahati, Modi highlighted the significant transformation that Assam and the entire Northeast have undergone under current governance.

"Previously, Assam and the Northeast received little attention, but now, Modi has emerged as the brand ambassador of this region,” stated the Prime Minister.

Modi reminisced about his overnight visit to Kaziranga National Park, noting that he is the only Prime Minister to have done so.

“I am the only Prime Minister in this nation who has spent a night at Kaziranga National Park,” he proclaimed.
