Synopsis
Key Takeaways
New Delhi, Feb 22 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached out to students facing examinations during his monthly radio show 'Mann Ki Baat' this Sunday, encouraging them to maintain their confidence, avoid letting stress cloud their preparation, and believe in their capabilities while concentrating on their efforts instead of grades.
PM Modi remarked, “Now, I wish to speak to our beloved, aspiring children who are currently in the exam phase. I trust you tuned into ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ earlier this month and took valuable lessons from it. Still, I’d like to ask: are you putting too much pressure on yourself regarding your studies?”
Offering reassurance, he continued, “My dear children, you are warriors in these exams. I believe all of you are dedicating yourselves fully to your studies. It’s absolutely normal to have some uncertainties during this period. At times, you might question whether you will remember everything, or if time will be your enemy. Every generation of children has faced these feelings; you are not alone in this.”
Highlighting that grades do not define one's value, the Prime Minister stated, “Keep in mind, your value isn't dictated by your report card. So, have faith in yourself. Write passionately about the knowledge you possess. And be careful not to let that one question about what you didn’t grasp overshadow your thoughts.”
He also encouraged students to keep communication open with their parents and teachers. “And one more thing: engage in conversations with your parents and teachers. They recognize your efforts rather than your grades; they take pride in your hard work. I am entirely confident that you will excel in your exams and reach new heights in your lives.”
Earlier on February 9, during the ninth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026, the Prime Minister lauded the incredible talent and limitless potential of India’s youth.
In a message shared on X, he noted, “Our students, blessed with remarkable talent, have the potential to turn their dreams into reality. This is the very purpose of Pariksha Pe Charcha: to demonstrate how they can effectively utilize their talents and skills.”
He also referenced a Sanskrit Subhashitam, explaining that an individual equipped with knowledge, reasoning, scientific insight, robust memory, readiness, and proactive effort can surmount any challenge, indicating that nothing is out of reach for such a person.
