Is PM Modi Taking a Tough Stance on Terror During His Gujarat Roadshow Post Op-Sindoor?

Bhuj, May 27 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized that India upholds a zero-tolerance approach towards terrorism, a stance bolstered by Operation Sindoor. He warned that anyone who dares to endanger Indian lives will face dire repercussions. Furthermore, he reaffirmed that threats against India will not go unpunished.

The Prime Minister delivered these remarks during a roadshow in Bhuj, Gujarat, marking his first visit to the border district since Operation Sindoor. The golden Kutch sands shimmered under the midday sun as thousands of supporters gathered, chanting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.”

Speaking in the local Kutchi dialect, PM Modi acknowledged the community's pivotal role as protectors of the nation's borders. He expressed deep gratitude for the resilience and strength of the people of Kutch. “To free Pakistan from the clutches of terrorism, its citizens—especially the youth—must embrace peace and prioritize progress over violence,” PM Modi stated.

He reinforced that Operation Sindoor is a mission aimed at safeguarding humanity and eradicating terrorism. PM Modi remarked, “On May 22, I conveyed at a public gathering in Bihar my commitment to dismantling terrorist hideouts. After waiting 15 days for decisive action from Pakistan, I authorized our military to act. With precision and discipline, they launched strikes deep within enemy territory, minimizing collateral damage. This operation showcased India's strength and capability to the world.”

“Pakistan's reaction was frantic. On the night of May 9, drones attempted to breach India's Kutch border, believing Gujarat to be vulnerable. However, history remembers the courageous women of 1971, who built a crucial runway in 72 hours, facilitating India’s counterattacks,” the Prime Minister noted. “Today, I am honored to stand among them, blessed by their bravery. A Sindoor tree sapling gifted by them will now be planted at the PM House, symbolizing our resilience,” PM Modi added.

India targeted terrorist hideouts, yet Pakistan retaliated by endangering innocent lives. However, when their drones appeared, they were swiftly neutralized, PM Modi explained. India responded with double the force, accurately devastating Pakistan’s military infrastructure. The world witnessed India’s precision in dismantling enemy airbases—just as we did in 1971. This time, however, Pakistan trembled in fear,” he asserted.

“India's response was so overwhelming that Pakistan's airbases remain crippled, desperately struggling for survival. Ultimately, Pakistan had no choice but to yield. They underestimated India's strength, and when confronted with our military’s formidable power, they raised the white flag. From the beginning, India aimed to eliminate terrorism, yet Pakistan’s miscalculations led to their downfall,” he further remarked.

He stressed that India’s battle is not against the people of Pakistan, but against the forces that perpetuate terrorism. The military and leadership in Pakistan have turned extremism into a means of survival, endangering the lives of their own citizens. “The youth of Pakistan must reflect. Is this the future they desire? Who has truly led them astray? While India has risen to become the world’s fourth-largest economy, Pakistan struggles due to its violent leadership. Pakistan’s children deserve better; they must reject terrorism and embrace peace, ensuring a future free from oppression and fear,” he asserted.

His visit also featured significant announcements. PM Modi launched 18 development projects valued at Rs 2326 crore and laid the groundwork for 15 major initiatives worth Rs 51,088 crore, totaling an investment exceeding Rs 53,400 crore. The projects focus on renewable energy, infrastructure, and trade and tourism expansions, establishing Kutch as a burgeoning global center of progress.

Once a region of hardship, Kutch has transformed into a hub for seafood processing, tourism, and commerce, demonstrating how determination can reshape destinies. The area is set to become the world’s largest center for green energy, enhancing India’s status in sustainable development. As the Prime Minister planted a ‘Sindoor’ tree sapling, he reiterated the nation’s resolve against terrorism, emphasizing that India’s struggle is not against its people but against forces that threaten peace.
