Bhuj, May 26 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued a stern warning to India's opponents on Monday, asserting that anyone who attempts to harm India or the lives of its citizens will face consequences in the same manner.
Speaking to a vast crowd in Gujarat’s Bhuj, PM Modi remarked that the Indian military's operations, referred to as Operation Sindoor, have conveyed a decisive message to Pakistan: any provocations will be met with a forceful response. He indicated that India's retaliation had left its 'airbases in ICU', leading to Pakistan's plea for a ceasefire.
He criticized Pakistan for its overt support and protection of terrorism.
“India promotes tourism — a force that unites people. In contrast, there are countries like Pakistan that view terrorism as their version of tourism — posing a serious threat to global peace and security. Our stance is unequivocal: zero tolerance for terrorism. Operation Sindoor has further solidified this commitment without ambiguity,” PM Modi asserted passionately at the rally.
“Anyone who attempts to spill the blood of Indians will be met with an answer in their own language. Those who challenge India’s sovereignty will face repercussions, without exception,” he emphasized further.
He clarified that Operation Sindoor is not merely a military initiative; it represents a mission to uphold humanity and eradicate the menace of terrorism.
PM Modi informed the audience that Pakistan was allotted 15 days to address terror havens operating from its territory, but it failed to take action. This led to the Armed Forces receiving a free hand to confront a nation that sponsors terrorism.
He added that Pakistan made the grave error of launching drone attacks in Kutch following Operation Sindoor, only to experience the power of 'nari shakti', reminiscent of the 1971 India-Pak war.
“They overlooked the fact that this land witnessed our courageous 'Nari Shakti' constructing an airstrip in merely 72 hours during the 1971 conflict. We targeted only terrorist camps with precision. However, they attacked our civilians — a cowardly act. In retaliation, our forces responded so vigorously that their airbases ended up in ICU. And what was the outcome? They came seeking peace,” PM Modi recounted.
