Mumbai, March 9 (NationPress) Veteran Bollywood actor Prem Chopra has re-released his biography, ‘Prem Naam Hai Mera, Prem Chopra’, devoting it to the nation’s soldiers. The actor conveyed his appreciation for meeting the officers during this special occasion. The book was launched at the Global Iconic Business and Entertainment Award (GIEBA) ceremony held in Mumbai.
The re-launch was officiated by Air Marshal Pawan Kapoor and Surgeon Vice Admiral Arti Sarin, who presented copies of the book to the soldiers in attendance. The author, Rakita Nanda, who is also Prem Chopra's daughter, was present alongside her father during the event.
Prem Chopra stated, “I am honored to have met the army soldiers and Marshal Sahab on this stage today. I presented them with a copy of my biography, and I salute these brave soldiers who have made significant sacrifices for the country’s protection. I am delighted to dedicate my biography ‘Prem Naam Hai Mera’ to them.”
The GIEBA ceremony honored remarkable contributions in business, entertainment, sports, and social services, dedicated to recognizing the heroism and inspiration of Indian Armed Forces Officers & Jawans.
In recognition of his invaluable contributions to Indian cinema, Prem Chopra was also awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at GIEBA 2025. The event, organized by Harsh Gupta and Sumit Kumar, attracted notable Bollywood figures, including Leena Chandavarkar and Farida Jalal, along with famous singers like Udit Narayan, Meet Brothers, and Sudesh Bhosle.
Industry veterans Ila Arun, Pretty Pinky, and Rameshwari also attended the event, while emerging talent Simrat Kaur and accomplished actors Manish Wadhwa and Rahul Bhatt captivated the audience.
