Mumbai, Oct 1 (NationPress) Global sensation Priyanka Chopra Jonas has conveyed her heartfelt thanks for the Ashthami pooja. She specifically acknowledged the warm reception from actress Tanishaa and filmmaker Ayan Mukerji during her visit to the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja.

Priyanka took to Instagram, sharing a captivating image of the Goddess Durga idol showcased at the pooja.

“On this Ashtami, I am filled with gratitude for Maa Durga's blessings! A heartfelt thank you to @tanishaamukerji & @ayanmukerji for your warm hospitality,” Priyanka noted in her post.

On September 30, she attended the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja Pandal, dressed elegantly in a stunning blue salwar kameez, complemented by silver jhumkas and her hair styled in a low bun. After her prayers, she was photographed alongside Ayan Mukerji, Tanishaa Mukerji, and other devotees.

In recent days, many Bollywood stars have graced the Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja, with Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Tanishaa, and Ayan serving as hosts, as their family organizes the event annually.

On the professional front, Priyanka was last seen in “Heads Of State,” directed by Ilya Naishuller, featuring Idris Elba and John Cena as political leaders forced to unite against a common threat.

She is set to star alongside Mahesh Babu in the anticipated project tentatively titled “SSMB29.”

This film, described as an action-adventure inspired by history and mythology, is expected to hit theaters in 2027.

Additionally, she has been cast in the next installment of the acclaimed franchise “Krrish 4,” marking Hrithik Roshan’s directorial debut.

The 42-year-old actress will also portray a 19th-century Caribbean pirate in the upcoming action drama, “The Bluff”.

This character is tasked with defending her family when her tumultuous past resurfaces. Directed by Frank E. Flowers, the film will also feature Karl Urban, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Safia Oakley-Green, and Vedanten Naidoo in pivotal roles, among others.
