Jaipur, June 13 (NationPress) Rajasthan's Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma highlighted the government's dedication to enhancing infrastructure, with a particular focus on high-quality road connectivity.
He declared that stringent measures would be implemented against any officials or contractors found negligent in public works.
During a review of pending Public Works Department (PWD) initiatives exceeding Rs 10 crore at the Chief Minister’s Office, CM Sharma urged officials to hasten road widening and strengthening efforts, placing significant importance on adhering to quality standards and deadlines.
The Chief Minister noted that the government aims to guarantee road access to every village and town, facilitating smoother daily commutes for residents.
He directed officials to finish all repair and enhancement tasks before the monsoon season begins and to bolster monitoring systems to ensure construction quality.
Additionally, he encouraged collaboration with other departments, particularly the Forest Department, to mitigate procedural delays.
