Jaipur, Dec 26 (NationPress) Students in Rajasthan will soon delve into the remarkable tale of Guru Gobind Singh's Sahibzadas as part of their educational journey. On the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma declared that the valor and sacrifices of the four Sahibzadas will be integrated into the school curriculum to instill values of patriotism, courage, and moral strength in the youth.
Addressing a gathering in Jaipur, the Chief Minister highlighted that the heroic deeds of Sahibzada Ajit Singh, Sahibzada Jujhar Singh, Sahibzada Zorawar Singh, and Sahibzada Fateh Singh serve as timeless examples of patriotism, faith protection, and human values.
Reflecting on the ultimate sacrifice of Zorawar Singh and Fateh Singh, he noted that even at a young age, they stood firm against tyranny, choosing martyrdom over oppression.
CM Sharma emphasized that imparting the story of the Sahibzadas to children would enable the younger generation to grasp the profound essence of bravery, faith, and sacrifice, drawing inspiration from India's rich spiritual and historical heritage.
“The bravery of the Sahibzadas is not merely a chapter in Sikh history but a proud legacy of our entire nation,” he stated.
In celebration of Veer Bal Diwas, an exhibition showcasing the lives, courage, and sacrifices of Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s Sahibzadas was held at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state office in Jaipur.
The exhibit was jointly inaugurated by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and BJP State President Madan Rathore.
Officially announcing the initiative, the Chief Minister expressed that the glorious narrative of the Sahibzadas’ sacrifices would be embedded in school textbooks, ensuring that future generations remain in touch with their history and adopt the values of selflessness, nationalism, and righteousness from an early age.
Highlighting Hindu-Sikh unity, BJP State President Madan Rathore remarked that the ideals and spirit of patriotism shared by both religions are identical. He cautioned that dividing society based on religion or faith weakens the nation.
Rathore pointed out that Sikh customs and symbols, such as the turban and kada, are integral to India’s collective cultural identity.
This initiative is viewed as a significant advancement towards fostering education based on values rooted in India’s historical and spiritual heritage.
