Jaipur, Jan 20 (NationPress) The complete state executive of the Rajasthan Youth Congress has been disbanded with immediate effect, following directives from the party's national leadership, according to party insiders on Tuesday.

This action effectively ends the tenure of all office bearers, including the state general secretary and secretaries.

The directive issued on Tuesday is signed by Youth Congress in-charge Vikas Chhikara along with co-in-charges Gyanesh Shukla and Kapil Desai.

This decision was based on an internal organizational report which highlighted issues such as prolonged inactivity, low participation, and factionalism within the state unit.

The report from the party's state in-charge indicated that the Rajasthan Youth Congress had not demonstrated the anticipated level of engagement over an extended period.

It was noted that many office bearers were reportedly not active and did not regularly engage in organizational activities, protests, meetings, or campaigns.

Insiders revealed that the dissolved state executive comprised approximately 344 office bearers, most of whom were found to be disconnected from active organizational efforts.

Participation in key programs was reportedly low, raising significant concerns among the party's state leadership.

About two months ago, the Rajasthan Youth Congress issued showcause notices to over 200 party office bearers, requesting explanations for their lack of activity.

However, many did not respond to these notices.

Additionally, ongoing complaints regarding groupism and internal factionalism were reported, which hindered the party's operational efficiency and unity.

In light of the dissolution of the state executive, the organization is now expected to promptly establish a new and more proactive team.

Sources suggest that the Congress leadership is eager to involve grassroots, committed, and loyal youth leaders, especially with the approaching political and electoral climate in the state.

This order also hints at the imminent announcement of a new state executive committee.

Following this decision, political activity among aspirants for positions in the Rajasthan Youth Congress has heightened, with party leaders amplifying outreach and lobbying efforts.

Political analysts view this move as a pivotal step towards restructuring the Rajasthan Youth Congress.

The intervention by the Congress' national leadership is perceived as an effort to reinforce the party's youth wing by addressing internal challenges and fostering greater accountability and performance.
