Jaipur, Nov 27 (NationPress) The Bharatiya Janata Party has formally unveiled its long-awaited Rajasthan State Executive Committee, effectively concluding months of internal speculation.
The new 34-member committee, established under the leadership of state BJP president Madan Rathore, is viewed as a crucial advancement in fortifying the party's organizational framework.
The announcement came after receiving the endorsement from the national president of BJP, J.P. Nadda.
As per the official announcement, this new executive body comprises 9 vice presidents, 4 general secretaries, 7 secretaries, 1 treasurer, 1 co-treasurer, a cell in-charge, and 7 spokespersons, alongside revamped media and social media teams.
Rathore’s latest executive team includes nine vice presidents, which is one less than the previous composition. Notable new members include Surendra Pal Singh TT, Biharilal Vishnoi, Chhagan Mahur, Hakru Maida, Alka Munda, and Sarita Gena.
Retained from the former team are former office bearers Nahar Singh Jodha, Mukesh Dadhich, and Dr. Jyoti Mirdha.
However, several prominent figures have been omitted from the list, including MLA Baba Balaknath, Sardar Ajaypal Singh, former Rajya Sabha MP Narayan Pancharia, Rajya Sabha MP Chunnilal Garasiya, former minister Prabhulal Saini, former MP C.R. Patil, and Motilal Meena.
The number of general secretaries has been trimmed from five to four, with only Shravan Singh Bagdi from the outgoing team returning. New appointments include Kailash Meghwal, Bhupendra Saini, and Mithilesh Gautam.
Excluded from the new executive are MLA Jitendra Gothwal, MP Damodar Agarwal, former MP Santosh Ahlawat, and Devnarayan Board chairman Omprakash Bhadana.
Several leaders have been promoted; for instance, Bhupendra Saini and Mithilesh Gautam, previously secretaries, are now general secretaries.
Kailash Meghwal, president of the SC Morcha, has also received a promotion, while Narayan Meena, president of the ST Morcha, has ascended to the secretary position in the state executive.
Pankaj Gupta has been appointed as treasurer. Other critical roles such as co-treasurer, office secretary, social media in-charge, IT in-charge, and media in-charge have also been filled as part of this restructuring.
This marks the first substantial organizational reshuffle since Madan Rathore took over as state BJP president in July of the previous year. Party insiders suggest that this revamp was necessary and will enhance responsibility distribution, coordination, and energize the party's grassroots.
Importantly, former Congress MP Dr. Jyoti Mirdha, who joined the BJP prior to the 2023 Assembly elections, has gained a significant position, indicating the leadership's trust in her expanding role within the party.
