Jaipur, Feb 21 (NationPress) With no other candidates emerging for the position, Rajasthan unit BJP president and Rajya Sabha MP Madan Rathore is poised to reclaim his role as the state head, according to a party source on Friday. An official announcement is anticipated on Saturday at 11 a.m.
Rathore submitted his nomination on Friday, with prominent party figures such as Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje serving as his proposers.
His nomination received support from five proposers: CM Bhajan Lal Sharma (First Proposer), former CM Vasundhara Raje (Second Proposer), former state president Dr. Arun Chaturvedi (Third Proposer), Jaipur district president Amit Goyal (Fourth Proposer), and national council members (Fifth Proposer).
Former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has been designated as the election officer for the Rajasthan unit BJP's state president election. On Friday, all five proposers submitted Rathore’s nomination to Rupani at the BJP state office.
