Jaipur, July 4 (NationPress) Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma announced that the state government is tirelessly working to enhance the quality of life for 8 crore citizens while propelling the state's progress.
During a public address in Girudi village within the Bansur Assembly Constituency of Kotputli-Behror district on Friday, he pointed out that long-standing public grievances are being rapidly addressed through Antyodaya camps. He emphasized that the current government has achieved more in the last 18 months than what the previous administration accomplished in a span of five years.
The camps, held under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Sambal Pakhwada, are designed to integrate the impoverished into the mainstream, aligning with Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s vision of Antyodaya.
The Chief Minister underscored the strategic significance of Kotputli-Behror district, which lies on the Jaipur-Delhi-Mumbai route, recognized for both its agricultural prowess and industrial expansion.
He acknowledged that the Neemrana Industrial Area has emerged as a sought-after location for international investors, significantly contributing to local employment.
To bolster this growth, the government has earmarked a budget of Rs 4,102 crore for comprehensive development in the district.
In the Bansur Assembly segment, numerous development initiatives are underway, including the transformation of Narayanpur into a municipality and increasing the bed capacity of the Narayanpur CHC to 50.
Several substantial road projects are currently in progress, with significant financial backing.
Sharma reiterated his government's commitment to uplifting the marginalized, in line with the philosophies of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
The camps are effectively settling land disputes and issuing ownership documents, while also assisting livestock owners through insurance, health screenings, and vaccinations.
Under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Garibi Mukt Gaon Yojana, surveys are being conducted in 10,000 villages to identify BPL families and connect them with welfare initiatives.
Additional services offered at these camps include tank cleaning, tap connection distribution, issuance of Ayushman cards, and resolution of pending NFSA cases to ensure food security for the needy.
The Chief Minister provided several instances where long-standing disputes were resolved during these camps, such as a 20-year-old land division issue in Gram Panchayat Kolaheda, land division in Mahtawas, and a 50-year-old name transfer case in Chimanpura.
He asserted that these instances serve as clear evidence of how the government is promptly addressing citizens' concerns.
Sharma also highlighted his government's broader accomplishments, claiming that in just 18 months, they have constructed over 32,000 farm ponds and provided subsidies for 253 lakh meters of fencing, compared to less than 30,000 ponds and 113 lakh meters by the previous government in five years.
Power generation capacity has surged by 4,270 MW under his administration, up from 3,948 MW previously. They have constructed 142 college buildings and connected 1,381 villages with roads, whereas the prior regime managed 57 colleges and 1,104 villages.
Under the Senior Citizen Pilgrimage Scheme, around 49,000 devotees have undertaken pilgrimages in the last 18 months, nearing the previous government's five-year total of 54,000.
During the event, CM Sharma distributed cheques and certificates to beneficiaries, including Balveer Bhupseda (PM Kusum Scheme), Sarpanch Priyanka Naruka and Sarpanch Sita Devi (TB Free Village), Anita Devi (PM Swanidhi Scheme), and Pooja (Mangala Animal Insurance Scheme). Land ownership papers were also presented to Ramkaran, Rajendra, and Gopi Ram from Morodi village.
Previously, the Chief Minister distributed land documents as part of the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Sambal Pakhwada initiative.
