New Delhi, Dec 25 (NationPress) Bharatiya Janata Party National President and Union Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda participated in the Christmas festivities in Delhi on Wednesday, emphasizing the teachings of Jesus Christ that motivate individuals to strive for the improvement of humanity and the well-being of everyone, as stated by a party official.
While addressing attendees at an event hosted at the Christian Higher Secondary School in New Delhi, organized by the Mao Naga Christian Fellowship Delhi (MNCFD), Nadda remarked that the holiday is an occasion to reflect on Jesus Christ's messages that foster love, compassion, and service to humanity.
He expressed his joy in being part of such a welcoming and festive gathering. The event took place at a church situated on Rajpur Road, Civil Lines, organized by MNCFD, which comprises Christians from North East India living in Delhi.
Nadda also spoke about the positive impact of the 'Act East' policy in the North East, highlighting enhancements in connectivity and the establishment of a new medical college in Nagaland.
He called upon the community to contribute towards the advancement of humanity, inspired by the principles of Jesus Christ.
