New Delhi, Oct 26 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, made a courtesy call on J.P. Nadda, the National President of the BJP and Union Minister for Chemicals, Fertilisers, and Health, at his official residence in the capital this Sunday. This meeting comes as the BJP ramps up its efforts for the forthcoming Bihar Assembly elections.
Sources indicate that CM Adityanath arrived at Nadda's residence in the evening, where the two leaders exchanged pleasantries and briefly touched upon various significant topics.
In a post on X, Yogi Adityanath expressed, "Today, I had the honor of meeting the esteemed National President and Union Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda Ji in New Delhi. My sincere gratitude for your valuable time!"

After conducting an aerial inspection of the fairgrounds, he convened a review meeting to provide necessary directives to the relevant departments.
The Chief Minister highlighted that approximately 40 to 45 lakh devotees are expected to gather along the banks of the Ganga during Kartik Purnima for a holy dip and to light lamps. He stressed the importance of timely and well-coordinated arrangements to ensure a smooth experience for the attendees.
CM Yogi instructed officials to prioritize traffic control, security, sanitation, health services, drinking water supply, and illumination. This year, the fair, set to occur from October 30 to November 5, is being promoted as a “Mini Kumbh.”
Stressing the need for safety, the Chief Minister ordered the deployment of NDRF and SDRF teams, the installation of CCTV and drones for surveillance, as well as rescue boats and helpline centers at all Ganga ghats.
He also emphasized integrating messages of cleanliness and environmental conservation within the fair, advocating for a complete ban on single-use plastics. The Irrigation Department has been tasked with ensuring the installation of checkerboard plates, testing pontoon bridges, and timely dredging work in vulnerable areas.
