New Delhi, Oct 26 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, engaged in a meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence in the national capital on Sunday. This meeting was described by sources as a standard courtesy visit, coinciding with CM Adityanath’s trip to Delhi for various scheduled official engagements and interactions.

While comprehensive details about the discussions remain scarce, insiders speculate that the two leaders exchanged insights on numerous ongoing governance issues and the collaboration between the central and state governments. No formal announcement was made following the meeting.

On his social media platform, Yogi Adityanath shared: “Today, I had the honor of a courtesy meeting with the esteemed Union Home and Cooperation Minister, Shri Amit Shah Ji, in New Delhi. I am profoundly grateful for your invaluable time!”

The rapport between these senior BJP leaders has been characterized as friendly and warm, with sources indicating that such courtesy meetings are a typical aspect of their ongoing coordination, having collaborated on numerous significant matters over the years.

Additionally, on the same day, CM Adityanath visited the BJP National President and Union Minister for Chemicals, Fertilisers, and Health, J.P. Nadda, at his official residence in the national capital. This interaction coincided with the BJP's intensified preparations for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections.

According to sources, the Uttar Pradesh CM arrived at J.P. Nadda's residence during the evening, where the two leaders greeted each other and had a brief discussion about several crucial issues.

Yogi Adityanath later posted on social media: “Today, I had a courtesy meeting in New Delhi with the Honourable National President and Union Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda Ji. My heartfelt gratitude for your precious time!”

Although no formal statement was released, sources indicated that this meeting was part of the regular interactions among senior leaders of the party.

Sources further described the meeting between the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and the BJP National President as cordial.

Earlier that day, CM Adityanath assessed the preparations for the annual Kartik Purnima fair in Garhmukteshwar (Hapur district) and the Tigri fair in Amroha.

Following an aerial survey of the fairgrounds, he conducted a review meeting and issued crucial directives to all relevant departments.

The Chief Minister noted that approximately 40 to 45 lakh devotees gather along the banks of the Ganga during Kartik Purnima to partake in the holy dip and offer lamps. He stressed the importance of ensuring that all arrangements are timely, well-coordinated, and focused on providing a seamless experience for the devotees.

CM Yogi instructed officials to prioritize traffic management, security, sanitation, healthcare, drinking water, and lighting arrangements. This year's fair, scheduled from October 30 to November 5, is being organized as a “Mini Kumbh”.

Stressing that the safety of the devotees is of utmost importance, the Chief Minister directed the deployment of NDRF and SDRF teams, the installation of CCTV and drone surveillance, as well as the establishment of rescue boats and helpline centers at all Ganga ghats.
