Jaipur, Jan 22 (NationPress) In the national capital, New Delhi, preparations are underway for the selected tableaux that will be featured in the Republic Day parade on Kartavya Path. These tableaux include those participating in Bharat Parv 2025, taking place from January 26 to 31 at the historic Red Fort. The media was invited to a press preview on Wednesday.

The event took place at the Republic Day Parade National Stadium Camp, located at Delhi Cantt Parade Ground. This year, 31 tableaux from central ministries and various states will participate in the Republic Day parade.

Additionally, 43 tableaux, including those from the main parade, will be showcased during Bharat Parv 2025 at the Red Fort.

While Rajasthan's tableau will not be included in the Republic Day parade on Kartavya Path, it will feature prominently at Bharat Parv 2025.

Rajasthan’s tableau, named "Sono Rajasthan", is expected to be a “centre of attraction” at the Red Fort event, garnering significant public interest. This tableau magnificently intertwines the state’s rich heritage, cultural vibrancy, and architectural traditions with the vision of a developed India and Rajasthan’s progress.

Rajneesh Harsh, nodal officer of Rajasthan Lalit Kala Academy, explained during the press conference that this impressive display combines Rajasthan’s festive culture, architectural heritage, and exquisite handicrafts.

Designed by talented artist Harshiv Sharma, the tableau presents a lively portrayal of Rajasthan’s traditions alongside its modern advancements. The front section illustrates a scene from the famous Teej festival procession, which celebrates women and culture.

The back of the tableau showcases the ancient and ornate havelis of Shekhawati, known for their murals and architectural beauty. The lower panel features intricate mural paintings and designs from these havelis, along with symbols representing Rajasthan’s innovations in water conservation and solar energy.

Harsh emphasized that the tableau was crafted under the guidance of Ravi Jain, Secretary of the State's Art and Culture Department, along with inputs from Deputy Secretary Brij Mohan Nogia and Rashmi Gupta, Divisional Commissioner of Jaipur. Recent efforts by Rajasthan’s Tourism Department have centered on preserving these historic havelis and transforming them into museums to draw both domestic and international tourists.
