“Our administration has earmarked adequate funding in both state budgets to guarantee inclusive and swift development. We will undertake every necessary action to fulfill the vision of a Developed India–Developed Rajasthan by 2047,” he remarked.
During the inauguration event, he noted that the recent rainfall during the sacred month of Sawan signifies a positive sign for prosperity.
“Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign, the Hariyalo Rajasthan initiative, which was introduced on Hariyali Teej last year, has already facilitated the planting of 7.5 crore saplings. This year, we aim to plant an additional 10 crore, striving for a target of 50 crore saplings over the government's five-year term,” he stated.
He called upon the public to participate in this campaign by planting at least one tree each.
Highlighting his government’s accomplishments, he asserted, “What we have accomplished in just one and a half years surpasses the entire five-year term of the prior administration.”
He mentioned statistics including the provision of over 253 lakh meters of fencing subsidized for farmers and the construction of more than 32,000 farm ponds, compared to 113 lakh meters and 29,000 ponds during the previous government’s tenure.
Furthermore, 55 veterinary hospitals have been upgraded to first-class status, whereas only 48 received upgrades previously.
Sharma also highlighted a significant increase in power generation capacity by 4,270 MW, surpassing the 3,948 MW increase noted earlier.
Moreover, 4,598 CCTV cameras have been installed in public areas over the past 18 months, compared to 2,813 under the previous administration.
The Chief Minister commended public involvement in the Vande Ganga Jal Sanrakshan-Jan Abhiyan, where over 2.5 crore people participated and more than 42,000 water bodies were rejuvenated.
“Through the Karmabhoomi to Matribhoomi campaign, recharge structures have been established in 45,000 villages,” he stated.
The state government is working towards self-sufficiency in water through vital initiatives such as the Ramjal Setu Link Project, Yamuna Water Agreement, Indira Gandhi Canal, and Dewas Yojana.
Sharma shared that the government recently carried out the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Sambal Pakhwada, rendering essential services to millions of underprivileged citizens through various camps statewide. These camps resolved revenue court cases, land demarcation, and encroachment challenges.
He also introduced the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Garibi Mukt Gaon Yojana, the first of its kind in India, aimed at uplifting BPL families in 10,000 villages. Monthly camps will be conducted at the Gram Panchayat level to address local concerns.
“Our government is dedicated to providing 4 lakh government jobs,” stated Sharma.
Over 75,000 appointments have already been made, with exam schedules released for 81,000 posts and job advertisements for 26,000. For farmers, the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi amount has been increased to Rs 9,000, with Rs 6,800 crore transferred to over 76 lakh farmers in the state. Sharma also emphasized initiatives to empower women under the Lakhpati Didi Yojana, through which more than 17 lakh women have received training.
