This release features eight tracks, including the highly energetic instrumental 'Coolie Disco', which has thrilled fans and cinema enthusiasts alike.
Sun Pictures, the film's production company, took to X to announce the platforms where the complete audio is accessible, stating, "#Coolie audio is now available! #Coolie hits theaters worldwide on August 14th." They also shared a poster proclaiming "Audio out now" along with the titles of all eight tracks.
The film's soundtrack includes 'Coolie Disco' (an instrumental piece), Chikitu (featuring lyrics by Arivu), Uyirnaadi Nanbane (Vishnu Edavan), I am the danger (Heisenberg), Monica (Vishnu Edavan, Asal Kolaar), Kokki (Rap by Amogh Balaji), Powerhouse (Arivu), and Mobsta (Heisenberg).
The full audio release comes just before a grand event slated for Saturday at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium.
'Coolie' has already set high expectations and has made headlines for achieving the highest overseas procurement for a Tamil film to date.
Industry rumors suggest that director Lokesh Kanakaraj's much-anticipated action film may be distributed to over 100 countries worldwide when it premieres on August 14 this year.
Hamsini Entertainment, a significant player in international film distribution, is supporting the film's global outreach. Sources indicate that with 'Coolie', Hamsini Entertainment is preparing for its largest release yet, aiming for distribution in over 100 countries, making it one of the most extensive international launches for an Indian film.
In addition to Rajinikanth, the film features prominent figures from the Indian film industry, including Nagarjuna, Sathyaraj, Aamir Khan, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, and Shruti Haasan.
Music for the film is composed by Anirudh, marking his fourth consecutive collaboration with director Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film's cinematography is handled by Girish Gangadharan, with editing by Philomin Raj.
This film is highly anticipated as it reunites actors Sathyaraj and Rajinikanth after nearly 38 years. The two last appeared together in the blockbuster Tamil film 'Mr Bharath', released in 1986, where Sathyaraj portrayed Rajinikanth's father. Notably, Sathyaraj had previously declined roles in some of Rajinikanth's earlier films such as 'Enthiran' and 'Sivaji'.
'Coolie', which marks Rajinikanth's 171st film, will focus on the theme of gold smuggling. Interestingly, director Lokesh Kanakaraj has revealed that 'Coolie' will stand alone and is not part of his Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU).
