Chennai, April 24 (NationPress) Writer and director Rathna Kumar, renowned for directing hit movies like 'Meyaadha Maan' and contributing to blockbuster scripts such as 'Vikram', has expressed that the upcoming Tamil film 'Tourist Family', directed by Abishan Jeevinth, is Sasikumar's finest performance as an actor.

'Tourist Family', starring Sasikumar and Simran in leading roles, is set to release on May 1 this year.

Having seen the film, director Rathna Kumar shared his impressions on his X timeline.

He commented, "#TouristFamily is a Classy film. A straightforward narrative filled with genuine emotion. Many gubeer ROFL moments combined with heartwarming scenes throughout the film. For me, this is @SasikumarDir sir’s best work as an actor. I was amazed by the post-interval sequence. What a well-crafted segment! The audience will go wild for it."

Clearly impressed, he added, "The small kid, the elder son, Simran, the house owner's daughter, the elderly couple next door, the uncle across the street, R.Raghavan, the alcoholic teenage boy, Thilak Ramesh, and even the small dog—every character became my favorite."

Praising the young director, he remarked, "An incredible debut by @abishanjeevinth. At just 24, he has already made a significant mark. I am now a fan. There are six references to Thalapathy.
