Thiruvananthapuram, March 31 (NationPress) Delhi's Chief Minister Rekha Gupta took a significant step on Tuesday by aligning with the BJP's prominent campaigners for the upcoming Kerala Assembly elections, as she urged the public to support the party and highlighted her model of transparent governance.

“Namaskaram Alappuzha. The journey toward a Viksit Bharat begins with a Viksit Keralam. True development is realized when the farmers and fishermen of Alappuzha thrive, the youth attain self-sufficiency, and every household experiences security,” she expressed in a message on X.

“The current state of Keralam stems from prolonged policy inaction, ineffective governance, and political opportunism. The facts are clear: both UDF and LDF have led Keralam into a debt crisis that burdens every family,” she stated.

“Keralam requires a fresh trajectory, one that is devoted to Seva, informed by Sushasan, and focused on Vikas. I call upon all of you to become part of this initiative for Viksit Keralam. Support Shri M. J. Job ji by pressing the lotus and granting him a strong mandate,” she added on social media.

Upon her arrival in Kochi, she remarked, “I have arrived in Kochi. I am truly thankful for the warm reception from the BJP Keralam family. Eagerly anticipating my role in the Vikasita Keralam mission in Alappuzha and Vaikom.”

Earlier in the day, CM Gupta endorsed the arrest of a senior civic official from Delhi by the CBI in a corruption scandal, reaffirming the BJP government’s commitment to fostering transparency in the National Capital.

“We maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption in Delhi. We will take strict measures. There will be no exceptions or protection for anyone. Our dedication to clean and transparent governance is unwavering,” she declared on social media.

The Chief Minister also shared a news article regarding the CBI's arrest of Abhishek Mishra, Deputy Commissioner of Delhi's Shahdara, involved in a bribery case amounting to Rs 4 lakh.
