Chennai, Jan 8 (NationPress) The enhanced version of Pushpa 2: The Rule, featuring Allu Arjun in the lead role, has been rescheduled to debut on January 17, moving from the initial release date of January 11.

Mythri Movie Makers, the film's production team, shared the updated release date on their social media platforms, noting that this version will include an extra 20 minutes of content.

In a post on X, the production company stated, “Due to technical delays in processing the content, the enhanced version of Pushpa 2: The Rule is postponed. It will now be shown in theaters from January 17 instead of January 11 as previously scheduled.”

Wishing everyone a joyous Sankranthi, the production team added, “The extended edition will be worth the wait, packed with more whistleworthy moments. The wildfire becomes even more fiery.”

Pushpa 2: The Rule has emerged as the most significant film of 2024, setting remarkable records since its release.

Notably, on Monday, the filmmakers officially revealed that the film has grossed an astonishing ₹1831 crore, making it the highest-grossing film in the Indian cinema industry. Remarkably, the film achieved this milestone in just 32 days.

The film portrays his ascent to power as he becomes the leader of a notorious syndicate involved in the illegal trade of red sandalwood.

This cinematic masterpiece, which is part of a trilogy, is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, with music by T Series. The second segment made its debut on December 5, 2024.
