Mumbai, April 10 (NationPress) Riddhima Kapoor delighted her followers by sharing a nostalgic photo featuring her brother Ranbir Kapoor and their grandfather Raj Kapoor in celebration of Sibling Day on Friday.

This vintage black-and-white image captures the essence of family, showcasing both siblings engrossed in curiosity alongside their illustrious grandfather. Raj Kapoor, the iconic filmmaker, gazes tenderly at his granddaughter.

For those who might not know, Ranbir and Riddhima are the offspring of the late Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, who was Raj Kapoor's son.

While Ranbir has firmly established himself in the film industry, Riddhima is set to make her Bollywood debut soon, sharing the screen with her mother, Neetu Kapoor, and comedian Kapil Sharma.

On the professional front, Ranbir is gearing up to portray Lord Ram in the much-anticipated mythological film “Ramayana,” directed by Nitesh Tiwary. The production recently revealed Ranbir’s first look in this exciting project.

Reflecting on his role as Ram, Ranbir stated, “I don’t think I’m here to represent Rama. I’m here to learn from him. There is a simplicity and purity to him that is very rare; and trying to understand and imbibe that has been a deeply humbling experience.”

Filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari emphasized, “The brilliance of Ramayana lies in its emotional depth. It transcends the battle between good and evil, focusing instead on choices, consequences, and the significance of doing what is right. Rama’s journey is profoundly human, and we have endeavored to stay true to that.”

The film will also feature Sai Pallavi as Mata Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, among others.

Supported by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios and VFX studio DNEG, in collaboration with Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, the film's talented crew includes Oscar-winning composers Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman, along with Guy Norris, known for “Mad Max: Fury Road,” and Terry Notary, recognized for his work in “Avengers” and “Planet of the Apes.”
