Mumbai, Oct 18 (NationPress) In a heartfelt celebration of the success of “Kantara: Chapter 1”, Rishab Shetty participated in the Ganga Aarti in Varanasi. The beloved actor shared a clip on X (formerly Twitter), warmly engaging with fans in Varanasi, alongside glimpses from the sacred event.
He expressed, "The sacred ghats of Kashi resonated with chants and devotion. I offered my prayers at the Ganga Aarti in Varanasi, a moment filled with gratitude for the divine journey and the remarkable success of #BlockbusterKantara. #KantaraChapter1 is still showing in theaters near you," he wrote in his post.
Prior to this, Rishab sought blessings at the Mundeshwari Temple in Bihar. During this religious pilgrimage, he also partook in the coronation ceremony of Maa Mundeshwari.
A close associate of Rishab informed IANS: “This temple is one of the oldest in the world, and Kantara is inspired by one of India’s most profound stories. The film is also linked to Mata Chamundi, which is why he felt compelled to express his gratitude.”

On Thursday, Rishab had a meeting with former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda. The Kannada actor received kind words and a gentle pat on the head from Gowda.
