Lucknow, Oct 18 (NationPress) During the Diwali Karyakarta Parivar Milan Samaroh at City Montessori School in Lucknow, the Chief Minister emphasized that this gathering showcases the rich cultural heritage of Sanatan Dharma.

“Our festivals are intertwined with significant events that have transformed society,” he remarked.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath highlighted that the Ayodhya Deepotsav has finally realized the longstanding commitment to construct the Ram Temple.

The commitment made in the presence of millions of illuminated lamps has resulted in the magnificent Ram Temple, now standing as a global emblem of pride for Sanatanis.

He mentioned that the blessings from saints and the dedication of devotees have resulted in the temple's construction, which will be revealed in a more splendid form post-November 25.

CM Yogi reflected on celebrations prior to 2014 and 2017, stating that events like Eid Milan were frequently observed while gatherings for Sanatani festivals were scarce.

“Today, Holi and Diwali Milan events symbolize social cohesion and unity,” he noted.

Recalling the inception of the Ayodhya Deepotsav, the Chief Minister shared, “When I initiated the first Deepotsav in 2017, many doubted its significance, questioning how lighting lamps could make a difference. I explained that each lamp signifies the commitment of Sanatan Dharma.

He added that the same collective commitment, represented by those lamps, has now materialized in the stunning Ram Temple.

“We renamed Faizabad, a reminder of our past servitude, to Ayodhya. This, too, was the manifestation of our determination,” he stated.

Stressing the necessity of unity for a Viksit Bharat, CM Yogi said, “Prime Minister Modi’s centenary resolution is steering the nation towards security, prosperity, and self-sufficiency. Events like Diwali Milan reinforce our social structure.”

Encouraging people to adopt Swadeshi, he urged, “On Dhanteras, purchase local utensils, gold, and silver. Just as our Defence Minister empowers the army with indigenous weapons, we should support Indian-made products.”

In closing, CM Yogi called upon every citizen to share the joy of Diwali with those in need by distributing sweets, cow dung lamps, and idols of Lakshmi and Ganesh to at least one underprivileged family, ensuring that every household can partake in the festival of lights.
