Ryan Gosling Shares Hilarious Tales About Harrison Ford
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Los Angeles, March 20 (NationPress) Hollywood star Ryan Gosling has recounted some wild tales from his interactions with the legendary Harrison Ford.
Ryan remarked that the iconic actor is "not like us" and humorously mentioned that he once consumed "half a bottle" of painkillers just to tease him, according to reports from ‘Female First UK’.
The 45-year-old actor collaborated with the 83-year-old legend on the 2017 film ‘Blade Runner 2049’ and emphasized that Harrison is as "awesome" and "cool" as people perceive him to be, albeit with a somewhat "insane" side.
In light of Harrison's recent confession about having intimate moments with his own movie soundtracks, Ryan, who has two daughters with his long-term partner Eva Mendes, was asked if he shares the same experience. He responded during an appearance on the New Heights podcast hosted by Travis and Jason Kelce, saying, "No. That's a hard no. That's an easy, easy no. No. But of course, Harrison has. I always say, never meet your heroes unless they're Harrison Ford. He's as cool as you want him to be. He punched me one time in a scene, and then when they brought me ice for my face, he took the ice out of my hand and put his fist in it, saying, 'I forgive you.'"
He went on to state, “Then they brought me Advil, and I was about to take two when he grabbed the entire bottle and just went, housing like 15 of them. He's not like us. He could just down half a bottle of Advil as a joke. He doesn’t care.”
According to ‘Female First UK’, Ryan also recounted a humorous incident where Harrison "stapled" a riding hat to his head while filming ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark’ to prevent it from falling off.
He shared, “He’s just, dude, when he. I think it's in ‘Raiders’. You know, when he’s riding and his hat kept coming off? Yeah. While on the horse, he stapled it to his head. They were trying to tape it down, and he was like, forget it. Give me a stapler. And he stapled it to his head. He’s not like us. That line where Princess Leia says, 'I love you,' and he responds, 'I know.' That’s him. He said that. He’s the real deal.”
The ‘Barbie’ actor also recounted a positive encounter with another hero of his, Sylvester Stallone, whom he found “hiding” in the kitchen at a party.
