On the same day, the new LG also had a meeting with the Vice President of India. He tweeted, "Had the pleasure of meeting Hon’ble Vice President Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan ji at the Uprashtrapati Bhavan. Thankful for his kindness and insightful guidance."
Additionally, Sandhu continued to engage with officials to evaluate the school infrastructure across Delhi. Following discussions with senior members of the Education Department, he tweeted, "Had a productive discussion with Secretary Education Shri Sanjeev Ahuja and Director Education Smt. Veditha Reddy. Education is the key to empowering our youth and shaping our future."

This meeting with the Vice-President occurred just a day after he met with President Droupadi Murmu to discuss various matters concerning the National Capital.
In his message on X, Sandhu expressed, "Honoured to have met Hon’ble President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu ji and gain her insights for our journey ahead. Grateful for her support."
Sandhu, previously an ambassador to the US, was sworn in as the 23rd Lieutenant Governor of Delhi during a ceremony at Raj Niwas on March 11.
