Hyderabad, Feb 18 (NationPress) The creators of 'Saraswathi', which signifies actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar's directorial debut in the cinematic realm, have unveiled the initial appearances of actors Priya Mani and Kishore in the film, much to the excitement of fans and cinema enthusiasts.

On its X timeline, Dosa Diaries, the production company behind the film, shared a promotional video featuring behind-the-scenes clips of Priya Mani and Kishore during filming, stating, "Thank you, Priya Mani ma’am and Kishore sir, for being part of Saraswathi. Previously, the production team had also shared a similar promo showcasing actor Prakash Raj and revealing his character's name. They expressed gratitude, saying, "Thank you, Prakash Raj sir, for portraying our RAMANUJAM. The first look of #Saraswathi is out now. Directed by @varusarath5. Produced by Pooja Sarath Kumar & #VaralaxmiSarathKumar under the @DosaDiariesOffl banner. A @MusicThaman musical."

For those unfamiliar, Prakash Raj plays the role of a lawyer named Ramanujam in the film.

It’s worth noting that the film's shooting was completed on December 30 of last year.

Varalaxmi expressed her emotions in an Instagram post, stating, "It’s been quite a journey. My directorial debut #Saraswathi... We began shooting a month ago, and now it’s a wrap for #Saraswathi."

She expressed her gratitude to everyone involved in the project, saying, "Thank you to each person who was part of this wonderful journey. All my actors, team members, and every single crew member... Thank you. I'm overwhelmed with gratitude. More to come... Wishing everyone a fantastic new year ahead."

The film is produced by Varalaxmi along with her sister Pooja under the Dosa Diaries banner.

In addition to featuring Varalaxmi, the cast includes other notable actors such as Prakash Raj, Priya Mani, Radhikaa Sarathkumar, and Naveen Chandra.

'Saraswathi' is backed by a strong technical team, with music composed by renowned music director Thaman.

Cinematography is handled by Edwin Sakay, while editing is by Venkat Raajen. Sudheer is responsible for art direction, and dance choreography is by Brinda.

While details about the film's storyline remain under wraps, industry insiders suggest it will be a modern thriller that keeps audiences engaged from start to finish.

On the acting front, Varalaxmi also has a Hollywood film alongside British actor Jeremy Irons.

She previously shared that collaborating with the Academy Award winner was a surreal experience, stating, "Working with Jeremy Irons, who is the voice of Scar from 'The Lion King', a film I cherish, is a dream come true. He is a highly respected actor in both Hollywood and world cinema."
