Among the new projects, a critical care unit at the Guna District Hospital stands out, constructed at an expense of Rs 16.86 crore, alongside a sewage treatment plant at the railway station and Sakatpur costing Rs 15.41 crore.
The Union Minister highlighted that this fully air-conditioned 50-bed critical care unit is outfitted with state-of-the-art medical technologies, including computerized diagnostic tools and modern surgical facilities.
In his remarks, Scindia emphasized the ongoing enhancement of health services, infrastructure, and civic utilities in the district to foster the growth of Guna.
He reflected on the longstanding bond between the Scindia family and the residents of Guna, stating that this connection transcends politics, rooted deeply in trust and emotional ties.

Regarding the long-awaited sewage treatment plant, Scindia commended the local civic body and public representatives, noting that this initiative represents a significant advancement in the city’s cleanliness and water management efforts.
Additionally, he announced that a modern sports complex is under construction in Guna, featuring various advanced sporting facilities, including a 50-meter swimming pool.
