Mumbai, Sep 30 (NationPress) Actress Shilpa Shetty and her entrepreneur husband, Raj Kundra, celebrated Kanya Poojan at their residence during Maha Ashtami on Tuesday.

The video shared by Shilpa on her official Instagram account captured the couple performing the Kanya Poojan for their adorable daughter, Samisha. In the clip, they were seen washing her feet, applying tika, and later seeking her blessings.

Following this, they conducted the poojan for other young Kanyas who visited their home.

Shilpa's sister, Shamita, along with their mother Sunanda, was also spotted serving delicious chole, puri, and halwa prasad to the little Kanyas.

The 'Sukhee' actress captioned her post, "On this auspicious day of Maha Ashtami, we carry out Kanya Poojan with utmost devotion, seeking the blessings of Maa Mahagauri. 🌸 May Maa bless us all with happiness, peace, and prosperity. Jai Mata Di🙏 (sic)."
