Mumbai, Sep 16 (NationPress) Maharashtra BJP legislator Siddharth Shirole, reflecting on the eve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday, shared memories of his initial encounter and photograph with him back in 2013. He emphasized that this experience reinforced his commitment to serve society with the same dedication, vision, and humility that exemplifies Narendra Modi.
“The photograph from 2013 and the recollection of that first meeting are forever engraved in my heart. Beyond being a leader who transformed India's trajectory, I recognized a person whose simplicity, approachability, and genuine connection with the public distinguished him. This moment solidified my determination to serve society with the same dedication, vision, and humility that characterizes Narendra Modi Ji,” he mentioned in a post on X.
“What impressed me the most was not just his sharp vision or his meticulousness but his humility. When I asked for a photograph, he warmly smiled, agreed without hesitation, and called my father to join us in the picture. This act of incorporating my father and creating a shared memory for our family highlighted the depth of his human touch,” he added.
“My first interaction with Hon. Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji occurred in 2013 during his historic rally in #Pune. At that time, my father, Anil Shirole Ji, held the position of BJP Pune City President, while I served as the General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha. The ambiance in the city was electric; thousands gathered, filled with hope and the belief that India was on the cusp of transformation,” he stated.
He continued, “I had the honor of presenting Modi ji with a comprehensive comparative report on Gujarat’s development model, illustrating the advancements made under his leadership compared to Congress-ruled states. He listened attentively, appreciated my efforts, and even invited me to visit Gujarat to study the model in-depth. For a young karyakarta like me, this acknowledgment was not merely encouraging... it was life-changing.”
In related news, Deputy Chief Minister and urban development minister Eknath Shinde announced that Namo Udyan will be constructed in 394 municipal councils and panchayats across the state, with a budget of Rs 1 crore allocated for each park. He stated that this initiative is a gift from Maharashtra in honor of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday.
“We have decided to develop a park in every municipal council and nagar panchayat of the state under the innovative Nagar Panchayat, Nagarpalika scheme. With a fund approval of Rs 1 crore for each park, these will be named 'Namo Udyan'. This decision will lead to the establishment of Namo Udyan in a total of 394 municipal councils and nagar panchayats within a year,” Shinde added.
A competition for these newly developed parks will be held at the divisional level, with prizes awarded to three Municipal Councils/Nagar Panchayats from each division. The first, second, and third place winners in the Namo Udyan competition will be announced to the respective local self-government bodies, with prize money of Rs 5 crore for first place, Rs 3 crore for second place, and Rs 1 crore for third place, available as additional development funds for the winning councils and panchayats.
