Patna, April 21 (NationPress) Bhojpur police have taken one individual into custody regarding a shooting incident that resulted in the deaths of two individuals and left four others injured in Laharpa village under Garhani police station late Sunday night, according to officials on Monday.
The chaos erupted during a wedding celebration when a minor disagreement escalated into a physical altercation, resulting in random gunfire.
As per police reports, the conflict began during the Dwar Pooja ceremony of Kamlesh Kushwaha, whose wedding procession had arrived from Kaup village under Charpokhari police station.
The dispute reportedly arose over a disagreement regarding the right of way for a Thar SUV, which led to a deadly confrontation.
Witnesses indicated that Rahul Kumar and Lavkush Kumar, occupants of the SUV, were shot dead at the scene.
Four others -- Appu Kumar, Pankaj Kumar, Aryan (all from Laharpa), and Akshay Singh from Bhaluni village under Narayanpur -- suffered gunshot wounds.
