Chennai, June 24 (NationPress) Shruti Haasan, the talented actress, songwriter, singer, and musician, and the eldest daughter of actor and politician Kamal Haasan, revealed on Tuesday that her account on the social media platform X.com has been compromised.
Shruti took to her Instagram stories to alert her fans.
She stated, "Hello everyone, I want to inform you that my account on X has been hacked. Any posts you see are not from me, so please refrain from engaging with that page until I regain access."
This incident follows closely on the heels of D Imman, a National award-winning music director, who recently regained control of his hacked account just a week prior. Earlier this year, Kushbu, another actress and producer, also faced a similar hacking ordeal but was able to recover her account.
D Imman, whose account was hacked in March, celebrated his return to X on June 18, expressing his excitement over the recovery. He remarked, "I am thrilled to inform you that I am back on X and my account has been successfully restored! I appreciate everyone’s support during this time!"
He further communicated, "I'm elated to share that my official X account @immancomposer has been successfully recovered. A heartfelt thanks to those who stood by me and to the X support team for their help. If you've seen any strange posts recently, they were not from me—please disregard them. We’re moving forward, and I am thankful for your continued love and trust!"
On March 7, Imman had publicly notified his followers about the hacking incident, stating, "Hello everyone, my official X account has been hacked. The hacker altered my email and password and posted unauthorized content within the last 24 hours.
“I have already reached out to X support to recover my account as swiftly as possible. Having spent over 20 years in the music industry, my reputation and connection with my audience are crucial to me.
“Any misleading posts from the hacker do not represent my views, and I urge everyone to ignore any suspicious activity on my account for the time being.
“I kindly request X to take immediate measures to help me regain access. Thank you all for your understanding and support during this challenging time. I will keep you posted on my progress in regaining control of my account,” he had shared.
