Jaunpur, June 11 (NationPress) The national president of the Suheldev Swabhiman Party (SSP), Mahendra Rajbhar, has accused Uttar Pradesh Minister and chief of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP), Om Prakash Rajbhar, of plotting a scheme to publicly disgrace him during a recent event in Jaunpur district.

The shocking occurrence, which went viral on social media, depicted Mahendra Rajbhar being slapped multiple times by a party worker right after receiving a garland on stage.

This event, held on Tuesday, was intended to inaugurate a statue of Maharaj Suheldev, where Mahendra Rajbhar was a special guest.

Following the incident, he stated to IANS that the assault was a premeditated action by OP Rajbhar aimed at diminishing his growing political stature.

"This plot was devised by OP Rajbhar. Certain individuals are envious of our party's growth. They cannot tolerate our progress, leading them to resort to such disgraceful actions," Mahendra Rajbhar claimed.

He elaborated, saying, "This incident clearly indicates that those in power are threatened by us. Our support base has been expanding remarkably in recent weeks, and it is only natural for them to feel envious."

"I was assaulted under the guise of being honored. This was a deliberate attempt to tarnish my reputation. It is part of a calculated scheme," he asserted.

Mahendra Rajbhar has filed a formal complaint with the police and has been assured that strict measures will be taken. He emphasized that such violent acts will not hinder his political journey or the growth of the Suheldev Swabhiman Party.

"Since the inception of our political party, the Suheldev Swabhiman Party, jealousy has been directed towards us. In a democratic framework, the organization holds significant importance. These individuals are suffering because of it. However, this will not halt our political journey in any way. We will continue until we reach our destination," he stated.

Further detailing his exit from the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party, Mahendra Rajbhar mentioned that the primary issue was the inadequate allocation of seats.

"The main reason was the unsatisfactory number of seats offered, just 17. We realized we could not fight the societal battle relying solely on their strength," he explained.

He confidently declared that the SSP's independent path is gaining momentum, and attempts to thwart it will ultimately fail.

"Since forming our party, we have consistently grown. Some cannot accept this reality. Now, they are trying to mislead us, but we are unwavering in our mission. There is no looking back," he concluded.

Point of View

It's crucial to recognize the implications of such incidents on the political environment in India. The allegations made by Mahendra Rajbhar regarding a conspiracy to undermine his political standing highlight the intense rivalries that exist within regional politics.
