Los Angeles, March 23 (NationPress) The renowned pop star Taylor Swift has re-emerged on Instagram after a hiatus of over three months to commend fellow artist Selena Gomez on her new album.

Swift expressed her admiration for ‘I Said I Love You First’, a musical collaboration between the ‘Only Murders in the Building’ actress and her fiancé Benny Blanco, according to reports from Variety.

“(Selena Gomez) & (Benny Blanco) I LOVE THIS ALBUM SO MUCH OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDD (sic)”, Swift posted on her Instagram Stories, along with a link to the album.

As noted by Variety, this 14-track album marks Gomez’s first significant musical release since her 2020 record ‘Rare’.

While her fans are thrilled that the reigning queen of pop endorsed the project on social media, there’s growing frustration aimed at other artists who have not shown their support, despite Gomez having backed them previously.

Before Swift’s enthusiastic shout-out, a popular fan account for Selena Gomez shared on X, “No celebrity supporting Selena Gomez’s new album except Becky G. Not Even Taylor Swift.” This post has since been deleted.

Fans are also expressing discontent towards Gomez’s label, Interscope Records, claiming it has failed to promote the album effectively since its release on March 21. “(Interscope Records) must really enjoy losing money by neglecting one of their top artists,” wrote one fan on X. Prior to the album launch, Spotify shared a teaser featuring a conversation between Blanco and Gomez that offered insight into the creative process behind ‘I Said I Love You First’.

“We’d get up in the morning and have a conversation. But our conversation was never led with, ‘What are we going to write in the album? (sic)’”, Gomez shared.

Blanco added, “I was constantly just writing whatever you said wherever we were. Sometimes, you’d be saying something really important, and I didn’t know if you even realized, but I would always open my phone and be like, ‘Fuck, that’s such a good line for a song’.”
