Jaipur, May 27 (NationPress) The Rajasthan Education Department has taken decisive action by suspending four educators due to severe negligence in the management of answer sheets for the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE). This decision highlights significant breaches in confidentiality and adherence to evaluation protocols.
The suspensions were enacted on Monday by Ashish Modi, the Director of the Education Directorate in Bikaner, following alarming reports of mismanagement amid the current evaluation phase.
Among the suspended teachers, two hail from Alwar district, while the others are from the Didwana-Kuchaman region in Nagaur district.
In Alwar, Omprakash Gai Saini, a senior mathematics educator at Government Higher Secondary School, Railway Station, reportedly left RBSE Secondary Examination answer sheets unattended in front of interns during the evaluation process.
Additionally, Meenakshi Arora, who teaches Hindi literature at the same institution, is accused of taking photographs of the open answer sheets and distributing them to media sources.
Both Saini and Arora have been immediately suspended for their breach of confidentiality and neglect of their responsibilities. Saini will also be barred from evaluating answer sheets for a duration of three years.
During their suspension, these individuals have been reassigned to the District Education Officer’s (DEO) office in Alwar.
In a separate incident within Nagaur district, Bhanvruddin, a senior Sanskrit teacher at Government Higher Secondary School, Bagot (Didwana-Kuchaman), solicited assistance from his colleague Pradeep Kumar Sharma at Government Higher Secondary School, Nimbari (Makrana) to input marks on answer sheets. Alarmingly, Sharma also involved his father in this process.
Both Bhanvruddin and Sharma have been suspended immediately for undermining the integrity of the evaluation process. They will be assigned to the DEO office in Nagaur for the duration of their suspension.
The Education Department has reiterated the critical nature of confidentiality, transparency, and accountability within the board examination framework, warning that strict measures will be implemented against any infractions.
