Did Tej Pratap Yadav Really Become a Father? Legal Action Threatened!
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Patna, Feb 8 (NationPress) Tej Pratap Yadav, the national president of the Janshakti Janata Dal (JJD) and the elder son of Lalu Prasad Yadav, vehemently refuted the social media speculations regarding his alleged fatherhood on Sunday.
He labeled these claims as entirely false and baseless and declared that he would seek legal recourse against those propagating what he described as a conspiracy to tarnish his reputation.
During a press conference, the former Bihar minister expressed that there were intentional efforts aimed at damaging his image.
“False rumors are being disseminated about me. I will pursue this matter legally. I will not forgive these traitors,” he stated.
“My reputation is under attack. A plot has been devised against me. Misleading information is being shared on social media—some claim I have a son, others say I have a daughter. This is entirely untrue,” he asserted.
He emphasized that if there were any truth in these allegations, he would have announced it on social media himself.
Rejecting associations with a woman and children mentioned in the rumors, he firmly denied any ties.
“My name is being linked to a girl and children. I have no association with any of them,” he affirmed.
Tej Pratap mentioned that such accusations could lead people into severe emotional distress, potentially leading to depression or suicide.
Although he acknowledged that the rumors had affected him mentally, he asserted that he had regained his stability.
“I was impacted emotionally for a while, but thankfully, I have recovered,” he stated.
In a dramatic revelation, Tej Pratap publicly identified five individuals he accused of orchestrating the rumor campaign.
He named Mukesh Roshan—a former Mahua MLA, whom he branded as traitor number one, along with Sanjay Yadav, Ramiz, Shakti Singh, and Sunil Singh.
He further claimed that several members of the RJD student wing were also involved in the continuous dissemination of misinformation aimed at defaming him.
Tej Pratap alleged that Mukesh Roshan, the defeated Mahua MLA, was leading a campaign against him and even suggested that Roshan had intentions to harm him.
He called for Roshan's immediate arrest.
Additionally, he questioned why Tejashwi Yadav had remained quiet on the matter.
“Why is Tejashwi Yadav silent? His conspirators are lurking in various corners, plotting against me,” Tej Pratap claimed.
He demanded an investigation into Akash Bharti and Akash Gurjar, questioning their alleged late-night activities on Gola Road, and urged for the retrieval and examination of CCTV footage.
Tej Pratap mentioned that he had already consulted with Bihar Home Minister Samrat Chaudhary, who assured him that he would be contacted within a day or two regarding the situation.
The JJD leader reiterated his intention to seek legal remedies.
Tej Pratap also dismissed Jitan Ram Manjhi's tweet as incorrect.
He noted that the tweet he posted was erroneous as well.
It is pertinent to mention that Union Minister and HAM patron Jitan Ram Manjhi had tweeted, “Congratulations and best wishes to former minister Tej Pratap Yadav and Anushka on the arrival of Lakshmi in their home. May God's blessings be upon all three of you. Many congratulations once again.”
However, Jitan Ram Manjhi deleted the congratulatory post from X shortly thereafter.
