New Delhi, May 28 (NationPress) Following the decision by RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav to expel his son Tej Pratap Yadav from both the party and the family for a duration of six years due to what he termed “immoral and irresponsible behavior,” JD-U national spokesperson Rajeev Ranjan asserted that this expulsion is largely symbolic. He emphasized that Tej Pratap should also resign from the Bihar Assembly.
“Lalu Prasad has expelled him just for appearances, to show the public that action has been taken. However, if Tej Pratap has any respect for public life and its ethics, he should voluntarily relinquish his position as an MLA,” Ranjan stated firmly on Tuesday.
