Patna, Sep 2 (NationPress) A clip featuring Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of the Opposition in Bihar and a prominent figure in the Rashtriya Janata Dal, dancing alongside youths at Marine Drive in Patna has taken social media by storm, garnering a mix of political reactions.
The footage, shared by his sister Rohini Acharya on the platform X, captures Tejashwi Yadav engaging in dance moves with young people late on a Monday night.
In a critical response, Jitan Ram Manjhi, the Union Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister and leader of the Hindustani Awam Morcha, made a jab at the Leader of the Opposition regarding the viral video.
On X, he remarked: "This group of youths dancing on the vibrant streets of Bihar at midnight is a testament to the good governance in our state. Had it been during the era of the Lalu Prasad Yadav family's 'Jungle Raj', these youths, including Tejashwi Yadav, would have been apprehended by Lalu's henchmen and forced to dance at the Chief Minister's residence. This is precisely why I emphasize the necessity of the NDA in Bihar."
In light of the viral video, Tejashwi Yadav himself shared a response on X.
He explained that after concluding a challenging 16-day 'Voter Adhikar Yatra', he decided to go for a late-night drive with his nephew visiting from Singapore.
"Along the way, some young artists were singing and creating reels. When they invited me to join, I couldn’t resist. We aim to transform the government in our state by aligning with the aspirations and dreams of the youth, transcending caste and religion, with the pledge to create a new Bihar," he stated.
The Voter Adhikar Yatra began in Sasaram on August 17 and concluded in Patna on September 1, spanning approximately 1,300 km across 23 districts.
This video has sparked both humorous reactions and sharp political commentary, demonstrating how even light-hearted moments from political leaders can quickly evolve into election discussions in Bihar.
