Mumbai, Nov 15 (NationPress) - Renowned television personality Tejasswi Prakash recently joined comedians Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbaachiya on their podcast. During the discussion, the actress revealed her ongoing battle with insomnia. Haarsh attempted to uplift her spirits, stating, “It’s not like that. If you sleep early, you'll get sleep early. You don't get sleep after a certain time.” Tejasswi responded, “No, I don't get sleep at all. I just lie down. Without my mobile or TV for distraction, I just lie there staring at the fan for hours.”
She expressed her frustration, saying, “It's quite irritating. Hours pass, and sometimes I see the sunrise through the curtains without having slept at all. There are many nights each week when I don’t sleep a wink. Living in a row house on the ground floor, I can hear the morning birds chirping, signaling that it's morning.” Haarsh probed further, curious about how she manages her day without sleep.
Tejasswi elaborated, “This has been happening for about a year now. Initially, I was irritated and wondered why I couldn't sleep. I would feel exhausted, yet I remained wide awake, affecting my mood throughout the day.” However, she later adopted a new mindset: “Even if I didn’t sleep the previous night, I decided not to waste the following day.” Now, she wakes up with acceptance, saying, “It’s okay, I didn’t sleep, and that’s fine.”
Tejasswi shared that she had only managed to sleep at 6 AM before heading to the podcast shoot at 11 AM. Haarsh was astonished and asked how she copes on just 5 hours of sleep. To which Tejasswi replied, “I just can't sleep!” For those unfamiliar, Tejasswi has been a prominent figure in the entertainment industry for over a decade, gaining fame from her role in Swaragini and her participation in Bigg Boss Season 15. Additionally, she starred as the lead in Ekta Kapoor's Naagin and is currently featured in the entertaining show Laughter Chefs, while also venturing into entrepreneurship.
