Hyderabad, Sep 10 (NationPress) In light of the current civil disturbances in Nepal, the Telangana government has established a specialized emergency helpline based at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi.
Following instructions from Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, this helpline aims to support Telangana residents who are currently trapped in Nepal and to provide assistance to their families.
Although there have been no reports of injuries or disappearances among Telangana citizens, the state government is proactively coordinating with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu to secure the safety and prompt repatriation of its citizens, according to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office released on Wednesday.

Real-Time Governance Minister Nara Lokesh has personally communicated with eight groups of stranded Telugus, totaling 241 individuals.
Due to the closure of the Kathmandu runway until 6 p.m. on Wednesday, immediate rescue operations were not feasible. However, Indian rescue aircraft are expected to commence evacuations from Thursday morning, ensuring the safe return of those in distress.
