Hyderabad, May 11 (NationPress) - In light of the ongoing crisis in various border states, numerous students and residents from Telangana are flocking to Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi, as reported by officials on Sunday. As of now, 86 individuals from Telangana have arrived at Telangana Bhavan, with 26 already dispatched to their hometowns.
Officials at Telangana Bhavan have set up arrangements to facilitate the travel of these individuals to their respective locations.
Telangana’s Resident Commissioner Gaurav Uppal mentioned that another 100 individuals are anticipated to arrive at Telangana Bhavan later today. All necessary arrangements are being made for their reception. The Resident Commissioner is personally overseeing the provisions for accommodation and transport.
Uppal, along with other officials, evaluated the arrangements for housing, meals, education, and travel. He has issued essential instructions to ensure that the needs of those arriving at Telangana Bhavan, who are looking to return to Telangana, are met.
Previously, the state government revealed that a control room has been established at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi to offer comprehensive assistance to all citizens from the state.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced that services such as free meals, complimentary lodging, a medical camp, and transport support are being extended. Many students from universities located in Jammu, Punjab, and other northern states have reached Telangana Bhavan and are receiving all necessary assistance for their stay and safe travel back to Hyderabad.
The control room has been created to ensure timely support, information, and help for Telangana residents currently situated in the border states.
