Ahmedabad/Patna, April 17 (NationPress) A man has been apprehended in Ahmedabad for allegedly issuing a death threat against Bihar's newly inaugurated Chief Minister, Samrat Choudhary. The arrest was executed by a police team from Sanand in collaboration with the Bihar Police, officials confirmed on Friday.
The suspect, Shekhar Yadav, aged 32, was located and captured on the Sanand–Kadi Road after authorities utilized mobile tracking and intelligence gathering techniques.
The initial complaint was filed on April 15 at the Sangrampur Police Station in Munger district of Bihar, following a threatening phone call directed at the Chief Minister's office.
The FIR was registered under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, addressing criminal intimidation and related offenses.
In response, the Munger district police reached out to Ahmedabad Rural SP Om Prakash Jat to relay information after confirming the suspect's presence in Gujarat.

His permanent residence is in the Banka district of Bihar. Following his arrest, Yadav was transferred to the Bihar Police for further investigation.
