Digboi (Assam), Nov 17 (NationPress) - The top players on the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) 2025 are set to compete as Digboi hosts the significant 25th installment of the Digboi Masters Golf tournament at the beautiful Digboi Golf Links from November 18 to 21, 2025.

This year, the prize purse has seen a remarkable increase from last year’s INR 85 lakh to an unprecedented INR 1 crore. The Pro-Am event took place on November 16.

The tournament will showcase a competitive field of 124 professionals, with the top 50 players and ties proceeding after the second round.

As the event marks its silver jubilee, it promises to feature elite Indian golfers including Yuvraj Sandhu (two-time champion), Arjun Prasad, Shaurya Bhattacharya, Veer Ahlawat (former champion), Om Prakash Chouhan (former champion), Manu Gandas, and Viraj Madappa, among others.

Additionally, 17 international professionals will compete, hailing from eight different countries. Notable foreign participants include Sri Lankans N. Thangaraja and K. Prabagaran, Bangladeshis Jamal Hossain, Badal Hossain, and Md Akbar Hossain, Americans Koichiro Sato and Derek Trofimczuk, the Czech Republic’s Stepan Danek, Italy’s Federico Zucchetti, Greg Snow from Kenya, Nepalese Subash Tamang, and Joshua Seale from Uganda.

Local professionals from Digboi include Deepraj Chetia, Deven Bhumij, Dulal Kalowar, and Alok Barua.
