Patna, May 17 (NationPress) A tragic incident unfolded in Bihar's Rohtas district as three individuals, including a father and his son, are feared to have lost their lives after being engulfed by the turbulent waters of the Son river on Saturday.
The unfortunate event took place at Navara Ghat when the group went for a dip following a funeral.
The deceased have been named as Nageshwar Sharma (65), his son Ranjan Sharma (20), and Ritesh Sharma, the son of Satendra Sharma, all hailing from Kajipur village.
Rohtas SP Roushan Kumar confirmed that they had attended the funeral of Uday Sharma's mother before the tragedy struck.
After completing the last rites, the trio entered the river for bathing and were tragically swept away by a powerful current.
