Jaipur, June 12 (NationPress) Reports indicate that eleven individuals from Rajasthan were among the passengers involved in the devastating airplane crash near Ahmedabad airport in Gujarat on Thursday.

The victims hailed from six families across various districts, including five from Banswara, four from Udaipur, and one each from Balotra and Bikaner.

Among those onboard the ill-fated flight was Koni Vyas from Banswara, together with her husband Pradeep Joshi and their three children: Pradyut, Miraya, and Nakul.

This family was reportedly en route to London when the tragedy struck.

Koni Vyas had recently resigned from Pacific Hospital in Udaipur, approximately a month prior, as part of plans to relocate abroad with her husband.

Another passenger was Khushboo from Balotra, whose husband works as a doctor in London. She had traveled to Ahmedabad with her father, Madan Rajpurohit, just a day before the incident.

In a tragic twist, Rajpurohit had just left the airport and was near Mehsana in Gujarat when he learned of the crash.

Khushboo was married in January 2025.

Also on board were siblings Shubh and Shagun, children of Sanjeev Modi, a marble businessman from Udaipur. Both MBA graduates were managing their family business and were traveling to London.

Upon hearing the distressing news, relatives and friends congregated at the residence of Sanjeev Modi, prompting him to leave for Ahmedabad immediately.

Abhinav Parihar, the grandson of former Sridungargarh MLA Kishna Ram Nai and son of Shiv Parihar, was also on the ill-fated flight. Abhinav was engaged in business activities in London.

Vardichand Menaria, who originally hailed from Rundera village in Vallabhnagar near Udaipur, was also among the passengers. His wife and son Deepak had accompanied him to Ahmedabad and remained there.

Vardichand had recently returned from London a month ago. His brother, Bhagwan Lal, is currently en route to Ahmedabad.

Traveling with Vardichand was Prakash Menaria, a fellow cook from Rohida village near Inatali, also heading to London.
