New Delhi, Feb 14 (NationPress) Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge and Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition (LoP) Rahul Gandhi paid their respects on Saturday to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the heinous Pulwama terror attack. The country is commemorating the 7th anniversary of the tragic 2019 Pulwama attack, which resulted in the deaths of 40 CRPF personnel due to a suicide bombing executed by Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists targeting a convoy in Jammu and Kashmir.

He added, "Their ultimate sacrifice remains timeless. We will never forget."
LoP Rahul Gandhi also shared his sentiments on social media, expressing, "My heartfelt tributes to our courageous soldiers who were martyred in the 2019 Pulwama terrorist attack. The nation will forever be grateful for their ultimate sacrifice in defense of Bharat Mata."
Earlier, the Congress party expressed their condolences on X, stating, "Tribute with deep condolences from the Congress family to our brave soldiers martyred in Pulwama. Their ultimate sacrifice for the nation's security will always be honored. We salute their bravery, dedication, and patriotism, standing united with the families of the martyrs."
Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also honored the martyrs, describing their bravery and sacrifice as exemplary for the nation.
"A respectful salute and heartfelt tribute to the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in the Pulwama terrorist attack. We will remain forever indebted to our martyrs and their families.
