Washington, Jan 17 (NationPress) President Donald Trump expressed profound personal significance upon the renaming of a prominent roadway in Palm Beach in his name. Florida officials formally introduced President Donald J. Trump Boulevard during a ceremony that drew attendance from state and local dignitaries.

The boulevard, which was previously known as Southern Boulevard, acts as the primary route linking Palm Beach International Airport to Mar-a-Lago, Trump's private club and residence. This alteration followed the passage of legislation by the Florida Legislature and various local authorities.

“President Donald J. Trump Boulevard now serves as a lasting symbol of courage, leadership, and unwavering patriotism,” stated Florida State Representative Meg Weinberger, the bill's sponsor.

Trump acknowledged Weinberger and Florida's Republican leadership, labeling the dedication as “a very important stretch” of roadway and expressing that he was “tremendously honoured” by this honor.

“I will cherish this remarkable tribute for the rest of my life,” he remarked, extending his gratitude to the legislators and local officials who backed the initiative.

During his address to supporters, President Trump emphasized his long-standing relationship with the state. “I’ve been part of this community for over 40 years,” he noted, asserting that Florida has been pivotal to his political achievements. He highlighted the significant Republican victories in the state, asserting that Florida has emerged as a benchmark for conservative governance.

The occasion also featured a tribute to three Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office motorcycle deputies who lost their lives in a crash last year. President Trump acknowledged that another segment of Southern Boulevard was dedicated in their memory, describing attendance at their memorial as “one of the most beautiful and saddest ceremonies” he had witnessed.

President Trump stated that the new boulevard sign would evoke pride not just in him but in the nation and Florida as a whole. “It’s a privilege to have my name on a road that so many individuals travel,” he remarked, calling the day “an extraordinary moment in an extraordinary place.”
