The Superintendent of Police in Udaipur, Yogesh Goyal, confirmed that a total of 39 individuals were apprehended, comprising 31 men and 8 women, during the operation.
According to Goyal, the event was orchestrated by Rajesh Sharma from Indore and Rishabh Rajput from Delhi, with young women specifically transported from Delhi to participate in the party.
“The assembly was reportedly characterized by alcohol consumption, loud music, mujra performances, indecent dancing, and immoral trafficking. The police received confidential tips regarding the unlawful activities occurring at the resort,” stated SP Goyal.
He added that due to the seriousness of the intelligence gathered, a specialized team was formed under the direction of the SP and led by Gopal Chandel, the Deputy Superintendent of Police for Girwa.
“Upon executing a surprise raid, the police encountered loud music and ongoing illegal activities. The owner of the resort, Moola Ram Chand, was arrested alongside the event organizers and attendees,” he elaborated.
During the operation, officers seized foreign liquor bottles, sound equipment, power plus tablets, and various other incriminating items from the site.
“Preliminary investigations indicate that the resort had been repeatedly utilized for such illicit activities in exchange for financial compensation,” he mentioned.
Most of the arrested males hail from Indore, Guna, Khandwa, and Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh, while the detained females are primarily from Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Odisha.
“The investigation is ongoing, and all suspects have been presented before the court in Gogunda,” he stated.
SP Goyal confirmed that stringent legal measures will be enforced against all involved parties.
