Ramanagara, (Karnataka) Nov 1 (NationPress) A team from the Bengaluru Rural police executed a raid on a rave party occurring at a private resort on the outskirts of Bengaluru city, resulting in the detention of 130 individuals early Saturday morning.

After receiving intelligence about the rave event taking place late at night at the resort located near Devigere Cross in the adjacent Ramanagara district, the police, under the leadership of SP, South, Srinivas Gowda, swiftly arrived at the venue and apprehended a total of 130 people, including 35 women.

All detainees were transported to the Ramanagara District Hospital for medical evaluations. The incident unfolded within the jurisdiction of the Kaggalipura police station.

The raid was conducted at approximately 3 a.m. while the party was still in progress. Reports indicate that all individuals detained are residents of Bengaluru.

During the operation, police obstructed media personnel and others from capturing videos. Allegations suggest that narcotic substances were consumed at the gathering. Preliminary investigations have indicated that the property is reportedly owned by Suhas Gowda.

Further information regarding the rave party raid and any seizures is forthcoming. The police have initiated a deeper investigation.

Earlier this year in May, the police in Bengaluru raided a gathering at a farmhouse in Kannamangala, near the city’s outskirts. This event was initially promoted as a birthday celebration, but it was flagged by local residents due to suspicious activities.

In total, 31 individuals were detained, comprising 24 men and 7 women. Most attendees were reported to be private-sector IT professionals from Bengaluru. Among them were alleged users and suppliers of narcotics. Three individuals, including the organizer and two others, faced formal arrests, while the remaining 28 were released on bail.

Items seized during the raid included approximately 3 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of hydro-ganja, 60 grams of hashish, and smaller quantities of ganja.
